Pay Schedules

Effective January 15, 2003 - W2's for the 2002 Work Year will be available !! Come pick up your W2 especially if you have recently moved as the post office WILL NOT FORWARD your W2.

IF you DO NOT recieve your W2 from the University in the mail by February 15 YOU will need to call USC Payroll @ (803) 777-4217 to arrange a pickup date and time as they will NOT resend them.

If you are hired at the close of a pay period your pay check may be delayed up to 1 additional pay date.

If you forget to complete any forms (ie signatures) or do not provide proper ID your time card will be held and you will not get paid until all paper work is completed. Once it's completed your hours will be turned in and a check will be issued to you for the pay out date your items are completed (translation - YOU could delay your paycheck up to 4 additional weeks).

Attention: Human Resources has moved from 900 Assembly St. to 1600 Hampton St. Their phone numbers remain the same.

Why does this matter? If YOU forget to pick up your paycheck this is the place you will now need to go (to retreive your paycheck).


F.Y.I on PAY DAY....

If you do not pick up your pay check within ten (10) days of the issued pay date Julie does return them to the USC Payroll office. After that you will have to deal with them for the reissuing of your pay check (777-4227).



If you want to avoid that whole scene you have two options:

(1) Give Julie or Nancy a supply of Self Addressed Stamped Envelopes. Your checks will be in the mail by 10am on pay day. Please be sure your SASES have the correct postage or they may not be mailed to you.

PLEASE REMEMBER postage is now .37 cents !!

(2) Sign up for Direct Deposit.

You will need to bring a voided check from your existing checking account. If you want your pay check to go into a savings account or an account under someone else's name you will need to bring a letter from the bank/credit union verifying the existence of the account. Direct Deposit takes two (2) pay periods to take effect.



When you come to pick up your pay check remember that you need to go to the vault (Julie's office) first. If the checks are not there she will have a sign on the door directing you back to the main office.


If you think your check is incorrect or you didn't receive a check and you think that you should have or you want to make arrangements for someone to pick up your check please contact Julie @ 777-3190 .



Remember incomplete or missing paper work and improper ID's delays your pay date. Please do not get mad at us for your delays.
