USC PARKING INFORMATION

THE AREAS YOU ARE ALLOWED TO PARK IN WITH A USC LETTER "Z" DECAL ARE ALL LOTS COLORED IN PURPLE.
Maps are available from USC Parking & Vehicle Services. Please be sure to read all available information on those pages.

WHERE DO I PARK WHEN I COME TO WORK?

When you work a weekday daytime LOAD IN or changeover if you do not have an official USC parking permit you will receive a $15.00 parking ticket. This ticket will be your responsibility and you will need to resolve it with the USC Parking Services staff, not Nancy.

You should have a USC Parking Permit before you come to work the next show or before you come to work any week day call.

If you currently have any outstanding tickets with USC Parking Services you will need to resolve them before they will issue you a 2002-2003 parking permit.

IF YOU ARE A USC Student you MUST PURCHASE a parking permit.

To obtain a new parking decal please visit Parking & Vehicle Services located in the Pendleton Street Parking garage (at the corner of Pendleton and Pickens Streets).

WHEN DO I GET PAID?

ALL CALLS ARE BASED ON A 4 HOUR MINIMUM. When you walk in the door you are paid for 4 hours whether the call lasts 4 hours or 1 hour. It is VERY rare that you will not work the entire 4 hours.
Calls are NOT in successive blocks of 4 hours each. Once you pass the 4th hour you are then paid hour by hour (1 hour at a time).

"What can I do a USC ID the card ?"

- You can use the USC Blatt P.E. Center. Hours of operation: M-F 7am - 11 pm
Saturdays 10:30am - 9 pm & Sundays 10:30 am - 11 pm
Facilities available: Racquetball Courts (8), Badminton courts (8), Squash courts (3), Swimming Pool, Volleyball courts (5), Weight Room(machines and free weights), Cardio-Vascular areas(treadmills, exercise bikes, rowers, stair climbers, EFX Machine, and a Nordic Track), Tennis courts(12), and Sand Volleyball courts (2).
You may take a guest with you (it does cost $3.00). Daily lockers (must be cleared by end of day)and showers are also available for your use. You may also rent lockers on a semester basis for $20 or $50 yearly (includes a locker, lock, and towel service).
Also located in Equipment Issue is the Happy Camper. They can accommodate your basic needs with backpacks, ground pads, lanterns, sleeping bags, stoves and tents. For prices and rental information call 777-3878 or stop by. All reservations need to made in person and a fee is required on all rentals. Renters responsible for all damage, theft, and late return fees.
- You can also use the Thomas Cooper Library on campus.
- You can use the Primary Care Clinic at the Thomson Student Health Center. Initial visit is $52.00 , all future visits and follow-ups are $30. Insurance is accepted but is not required for treatment. You must pay upon completion of services. For more info or to make an appointment (walk-ins are welcome) call 777 - 5373. Hours of operation are Mon. - Fri. 8:30 am - 4 pm.
- You can purchase discount movie tickets. They are available at the Carolina Collegiate Credit Union. You do not have to be a member of the CCCU to purchase movie tickets. You do have to be a member of CCCU to purchase discount tickets to Biltmore House.
- You can receive a discount at the University Bookstore at the Russell House.
- You can join the Carolina Collegiate Credit Union located at 710 Pulaski St. They offer : no minimum checking, no per check fees, Visa Debit card, duplicate checks, Ten FREE ATM transactions per month, Statewide no surcharge ATM Network, , no monthly service charge, Interest beraring accounts available, ATM service worldwide, overdraft options, and Nightwatch (24 hr telephone account access).
- You can use the computer labs on the campus however you cannot get an email address through the University. Get a free email address @ www.hotmail.com . There is a computer lab in the Thomas Cooper Library. The Fall hours are : M-F 7:30 am -11:45 pm, Saturday 10 am - 7:45 pm, Sunday 1 pm - 11:45 pm. For more information call 777 - 0244. There is also a computer lab in the basement of Gambrell. We do not know the hours.
- To join Sam's Club all you need is a recent pay stub and your drivers license. An employee ID verifies your employment with the University. There is a fee to join Sam's Club. Call the one nearest you for further information.
